Basileia Gombe gathered believers from several states across Northern Nigeria for three days at the Gombe International Hotel.
Why we went
- To proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ over Northern Nigeria
- To call people to repentance, restoration and wholehearted commitment
- To minister healing and freedom from bondage
- To stir fresh hunger for God and awareness of his Kingdom
- To strengthen unity among believers for the transformation of the region
The three days
Day 1. Bro. William Nzoputa led prayer and Sis. Elliot led worship. Bro. Shaddai Yekini taught on labouring to birth what the Lord has deposited, and the day closed with prayer for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Day 2. After prayer and worship, Bro. Tolu Olunubi taught on importunity: persistence and shamelessness in asking from God. In the evening, Bro. Daniel Igbre spoke on Don't Settle Here, a call to keep pressing on toward complete surrender.
Day 3. Bro. Tolu Olunubi taught on Activating Your New Creation Reality, and Bro. Daniel Igbre on Use What You Have, faithful stewardship of what God has invested in us. The evening was a powerful service of impartation, healing and deliverance.
What God did
Testimonies multiplied through the sessions: people gave their lives to Christ or recommitted them, partial deafness was healed, sight was restored, and many were delivered from bondage and oppression. Words of knowledge were given and confirmed.
This was not merely an event. It was obedience to a divine command, and we expect the seeds sown in Gombe to keep bearing fruit in transformed lives.
